- Support department heads with senior-level guidance while empowering Senior Creatives to fully shape and deliver their ideas.
- Bring fresh creative perspective informed by audience diversity and current cultural shifts.
- Promote a talent-first production approach while weighing budget impact and making sound prioritization decisions.
- Support casting and post-production efforts, including drawing on personal talent and agency relationships when useful.
- Coach and develop creative leaders so they strengthen both management and creative decision-making skills.
- Define success measures for shows and pilots, then use analytics to evaluate results and guide improvements.
- Apply audience data and YouTube analytics to shape programming choices, content themes, and distribution plans across channels.
- Share performance expectations and results clearly with the team to support accountability and ongoing improvement.
- Oversee creative budgets and make trade-offs that balance experimentation, financial discipline, and return on investment.
- Partner with Finance, Brand Partnerships, and Creative teams to improve production efficiency, monetization, and scheduling.
- Make senior-level decisions on priorities and resource allocation so the team focuses on the highest-impact work.
- Contribute to broader company strategy affecting content, brand positioning, and audience growth.
- Work with HR on hiring and developing creative talent.
- Collaborate across Production, Finance, Analytics, and Brand Partnerships to execute strategy effectively.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience creating for YouTube or a similar digital content environment, with the ability to both imagine ideas and bring them to life.
- Sharp strategic judgment with the confidence to balance creative risk, financial consequences, and prioritization decisions.
- A leadership style rooted in talent development, mentorship, and team empowerment.
- Comfort using audience insights and performance data to drive content decisions.
- Working knowledge of multiple digital platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, and similar channels.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to turn creative direction into practical action for teams and stakeholders.
- Experience managing budgets, resources, and cross-functional operations with an understanding of ROI and production economics.
- Adaptability and a willingness to test, adjust, and iterate while keeping mission-driven work central.
- Commitment to inclusive, diverse creative work that reflects the audiences the company serves.
