About This RoleThe Head of Growth will spearhead the expansion of Nectar, aiming to establish it as the premier dating platform for Gen Z. This role encompasses the full growth strategy, covering user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization, with the objective of driving both user base expansion and overall business performance. It is a key leadership position requiring close collaboration with product, engineering, creative, marketing, and executive teams to develop a growth strategy and app experience that genuinely connects with Gen-Z users and ensures business success.
What You’ll Do- Spearhead Nectar's growth strategy, encompassing user acquisition, activation, retention, referral programs, and revenue generation.
- Develop and implement performance marketing campaigns across paid social media, search engines, influencer collaborations, affiliate networks, and emerging channels.
- Oversee growth budgets and optimize key performance indicators such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and conversion rates.
- Initiate and manage rapid growth experiments focused on acquisition, onboarding, user engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering departments to identify and implement product-driven growth opportunities.
- Refine user journeys, subscription funnels, pricing models, and strategies for increasing premium feature adoption.
- Create and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns via email, push notifications, CRM systems, and re-engagement initiatives.
- Establish robust growth analytics frameworks and utilize data to derive insights, prioritize opportunities, and measure the impact of growth initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams in growth-related projects and ensure alignment among stakeholders regarding company growth objectives.
- Contribute to shaping Nectar's long-term growth vision as the platform scales and expands its market reach.
- Possess over 7 years of experience in growth, performance marketing, product growth, or leadership roles within consumer applications.
- Demonstrate a proven history of scaling consumer products through a blend of paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and product-led growth strategies.
- Exhibit deep expertise in performance marketing, growth experimentation, conversion rate optimization, and growth analytics.
- Maintain a strong understanding of subscription-based business models, monetization strategies, and customer lifecycle management.
- Have experience collaborating effectively with product and engineering teams to achieve growth targets.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach, with an intuitive ability to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
- Possess excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of influencing teams across marketing, product, engineering, and creative departments.
- Show a profound understanding of Gen Z demographics, internet culture, and consumer behavior.
- Demonstrate passion for developing products that foster meaningful connections and cultural impact.
- Prior experience with social, community-focused, or dating applications is highly advantageous.
