Overview
The Head of Client Relationships leads our team of Directors responsible for managing all client accounts at Aviation Portfolio. This role combines leadership with active participation, ensuring top-tier advisory service, team development, and rigorous portfolio management to meet client expectations. This position reports directly to the CEO and plays a key role in client retention and shaping company service as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, recruit, and retain a team of client relationship directors, setting high standards for service quality.
- Maintain and enhance playbooks, operational rhythms, and quality measures to ensure consistent excellence in client services.
- Handle complex client issues and partner escalations beyond individual directors' responsibilities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to report on client status and risks, translating strategic goals into daily team operations.
- Plan staffing needs against client portfolio expansion, balancing workloads and anticipating future hires as the firm grows.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience leading client-facing teams, supported by over 8 years in private aviation, wealth management, luxury hospitality, or related advisory sectors; private aviation experience is highly preferred.
- Passion for people management demonstrated by success in building, coaching, and retaining high-performance client-centric teams.
- Strong business acumen, comfortable managing client retention, growth metrics, and related financials.
- Exceptional communication abilities, with the skill to clearly convey complex topics to clients and executives.
- Experience working within high-trust, fast-paced remote environments.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

Additional Information
This position requires availability for weekend and holiday shifts and some after-hours work due to operations seven days a week; flexibility in scheduling is essential.
Benefits include a competitive salary within a $150,000 to $200,000 range depending on experience and location, eligibility for a performance bonus, 401(k) with automatic vesting matching, health and dental insurance, and paid time off.
Physical Requirements
- Regular extended periods of sitting, verbal and written communication, and use of computer and phone equipment.
- Occasional lifting or moving items up to 15 pounds.
