Role overview

The Queensland Department of Education is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking school leader to take on the Head of Campus (Level 5) role for Woogaroo Creek State School. This primary campus will operate alongside a new special school site in the Springfield-Redbank corridor, forming an integrated campus in a rapidly expanding community.

This is a distinctive leadership opportunity to help establish and guide an innovative model that brings a mainstream primary school and a newly created special school campus together. Key duties

In this position, you will work alongside the Principal and the wider leadership team to guide the Woogaroo Creek primary campus and support strong educational results for every student.

  • Strengthen teaching and learning practices so they meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Develop productive partnerships with families, staff and the broader community.
  • Support coordinated, integrated-campus ways of working.
  • Manage people, budgets and school facilities responsibly and effectively.
  • Embed socially just and inclusive approaches into everyday school operations.
  • Build staff capability through coaching, support and professional growth opportunities.
