The Operations team functions as the core engine, developing company processes that are progressively AI-driven.

Role Overview

The Head of Business Performance will lead HUMAIN's business performance engine. This role connects operating plans, business performance, and insights to enable early detection of variances from plans and prompt corrective action, emphasizing AI-driven processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with each business unit to develop annual operating plans aligned with the overall business plan and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage the entire monthly and quarterly business performance review cycles.
• Conduct variance analysis against plans and jointly drive mitigation strategies with relevant teams.
• Oversee executive reporting, dashboard creation, and insights, including a standardized weekly report presented to the CEO.
• Implement AI agents to enhance performance tracking, insight generation, and reporting.
• Function as both a leader and active contributor by building and expanding a high-performing business performance team.

Success Metrics

• Within the first three months, establish scorecard-aligned operating plans across all units and implement a standardized business review cadence.
• Within six to twelve months, ensure consistent variance detection and response, provide leadership with reliable visibility into performance, and achieve measurable improvements through AI-enhanced reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in business performance, strategy, or business operations, preferably within technology, AI, or digital sectors.
• Proven experience developing and managing large-scale performance management systems including management/business reviews, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Strategic operator skilled at converting variance analysis into actionable plans; expertise in scorecard-based planning and close collaboration with Finance teams.
• Strong analytical acumen, synthesis ability, and executive-level communication skills, reporting weekly to the CEO.
• Practical experience deploying AI tools to improve performance tracking and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is an added benefit.
