The Operations team is at the core of ensuring the company runs efficiently and evolves towards AI-native business functions.

Role Overview

The Director of Business Operations will lead and expand HUMAIN's operating model and process framework, establishing standards, governance, and routines that empower controlled growth and increased AI integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company's operating model, decision rights framework, and RACI matrices to streamline company-wide interactions.
• Create and manage governance structures and operational rhythms that ensure alignment and accountability across all teams.
• Develop and oversee the process playbook, taxonomy, standards, and an enterprise-wide process catalog.
• Redesign core business procedures to enable AI agents to manage operations, resulting in significant improvements in speed and quality.
• Promote and support the adoption of standardized processes and AI-powered operational practices throughout all company functions.
• Act as a hands-on leader collaborating cross-functionally to implement strategies and progressively build a larger team.

Success Metrics

• Within the first 90 days, establish a refined operating model with well-defined decision rights comprehended by leadership and a consistent operating cadence.
• Within 6 to 12 months, achieve widespread adoption of operational standards, a self-sustaining operational rhythm, and measurable improvements through AI-native workflows.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in operations or COO office roles within fast-growing organizations, especially in technology, AI, or digital sectors.
• Proven record designing and implementing scalable operating models and process frameworks with tangible adoption results.
• Strong expertise in systems thinking, governance structuring, and process architecture.
• Demonstrated fluency in AI, including automating workflows with measurable impacts and deploying AI agents in production settings.
• Experience in hands-on cross-functional execution, stakeholder management, and influence without formal authority.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced qualifications such as an MBA are advantageous.
• Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are favorable.
