Role Overview

As the Head of Asset Management for Agri-PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), you will lead the development and scaling of our asset management efforts. Your role ensures that our expanding portfolio of Agri-PV installations and upcoming battery storage projects operates efficiently from technical, economic, and regulatory perspectives. Combining in-depth technical knowledge with strong commercial acumen, you will build scalable processes, enforce standards, and drive the long-term performance of assets. Collaborating closely with the founding team, you will help establish a sustainable and future-ready asset management framework with considerable entrepreneurial responsibility. There is potential for you to take on further leadership duties by managing an independent asset management entity within the corporate group.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage both technical and commercial aspects of asset management for Agri-PV and future BESS projects.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable asset management frameworks, encompassing operational processes, standards, reporting structures, and KPI tracking.
• Ensure the technical efficiency and financial success of the portfolio throughout the full asset lifecycle.
• Oversee and quality-check external operations & maintenance (O&M) providers and other business-critical partners.
• Analyze asset performance, revenue data, and operational metrics to identify and execute optimization opportunities.
• Lead budget planning, cost management, cash flow tracking, and profitability assessments independently.
• Prepare investor reports, management updates, and decision-making documents for executive leadership.
• Collaborate with project development, EPC, engineering, finance teams, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory, technical, and contractual requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years experience in asset management, technical management, or operation of renewable energy facilities.
• Strong expertise in technical and commercial asset management related to photovoltaic systems, storage solutions, or similar energy infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of photovoltaic systems, grid connections, operational management, and key technical metrics.
• Proven track record in managing external service providers and handling complex stakeholder relationships.
• Experience establishing processes, structures, or organizational units is advantageous.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high self-responsibility and strong results and execution orientation.
• Fluent in both German and English.
