Job Summary
The Stockroom Assistant plays a critical role in managing stock rotation according to company policies, supporting both Stockroom and Store management duties. Additionally, this role assists with sales activities to help optimize overall sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and maintain product quality as per company standards.
- Oversee daily operations involving goods receipt, storage, and preparation for floor display and special zones, focusing on maximizing time efficiency.
- Manage shop-to-shop and return transfers ensuring adherence to company policies and deadlines.
- Handle the processing and fulfillment of e-commerce orders, maintaining expected service levels.
- Administer special stock categories including damaged items, holds, consignments, and repairs.
- Coordinate and organize packaging materials, stationery, display props, uniforms, and gift handling within IT systems.
- Guarantee proper protection and packaging of products both in-store and during transfers, including online shipments.
- Follow company procedures for theft cases, ensuring accurate communication and documentation.
- Promptly investigate any discrepancies identified through system audits.
- Manage product flow and accompanying documentation, accurately logging movements within IT platforms.
- Organize and execute physical and cycle inventories for finished products and accessory materials within specified timelines.
- Implement stock organization strategies with commercial priorities in mind, highlighting bestsellers and new launches.
- Support stockroom activities directly connected to sales operations.
- Maintain security and cleanliness standards within the stockroom area.
- Maintain effective communication and partnerships with service providers.
- Update and manage archives monthly to ensure accurate record keeping.
- Develop product knowledge across all merchandise categories to assist Client Advisors and collaborate with Visual Merchandising as necessary.
- Responsible for carrying out KPI updates, guidelines, and company procedures issued by Store Operations Managers, Store Managers, or Headquarters.
