Role Overview

The Guest Activities Coordinator for Adventure Programs is tasked with leading and crafting outdoor experiences that immerse guests in the natural beauty surrounding Twin Farms. This includes guiding hiking and biking trips both on the property and in nearby areas, guaranteeing safety, engagement, and highly tailored experiences consistent with luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct guided hiking and biking tours customized to the guests' abilities and interests, on and off resort grounds.
• Create and implement seasonal outdoor activities that showcase the terrain and cater to guest preferences.
• Serve as a primary contact for guests, anticipating their needs and personalizing their adventure experiences.
• Foster a friendly and stimulating atmosphere encouraging active guest involvement.
• Maintain safety as a certified Wilderness First Responder, overseeing all activity safety measures.
• Evaluate environmental factors like weather and terrain to make informed, immediate decisions.
• Keep all equipment and activity zones well-maintained and up to high standards.
• Respond effectively and calmly to emergencies and changing situations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to efficiently manage daily guest schedules.
• Assist with additional guest services such as arrivals, property tours, and unique requests.
• Support ongoing improvements to outdoor activity offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading outdoor activities such as hiking and/or biking.
• Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification or eagerness to obtain one.
• Excellent judgment and composed demeanor in dynamic settings.
• Passion for outdoor environments combined with a service-oriented hospitality outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse guests.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a cooperative team spirit.
• Additional skills such as fly fishing or Nordic skiing are advantageous.
• Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and traverse uneven terrain.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay ranges between $22 and $28.
