Job description

About Sleek

Sleek uses proprietary software and AI to simplify back-office work for micro SMEs, giving founders more time to focus on customers and business growth. The company operates across three lines of business: corporate secretarial services, accounting and bookkeeping, and fintech payments. Since launching in 2017, Sleek has grown to serve about 15,000 customers across Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and the UK, with a team of around 600 employees. It has also raised Series B funding and has been recognised by major publications as one of Asia’s fastest-growing companies.

The company’s broader mission is to improve operations and customer experience through intelligent automation and modern engineering.

Role Overview

This senior, hands-on product leadership role is focused on scaling two strategic products: the Sleek Business Account, a licensed digital business account in Singapore, and Sleek’s proprietary in-house payroll solution. The position calls for a commercially sharp product manager who can operate independently, shape product direction, manage execution, and drive launch and growth without relying on a separate marketing team.

The core objective is to increase revenue from both products by improving adoption, growing assets under management for the business account, increasing payroll usage, and unlocking monetisation opportunities such as foreign exchange activity.

Key Outcomes for the First 6-12 Months

  • Lift adoption across both the business account and payroll products.
  • Increase assets under management for the business account and grow the number of employees using the payroll platform.
  • Boost annual recurring revenue through product monetisation, including value-added FX transactions.
  • Deliver commitments on schedule while handling ambiguity and coordinating closely with stakeholders and engineering.

What You Will Be Doing

You will lead product strategy, project coordination, and go-to-market execution for the two products. The work will require a blend of commercial thinking, product discovery, delivery ownership, growth experimentation, and cross-functional alignment. You will be expected to work closely with engineering and other stakeholders to move fast and ship effectively in a lean environment.

Experience and Competency Requirements

The ideal candidate brings 5 to 10 years of product management experience in a neobank, digital bank, or fast-growing fintech. You should have a strong record of taking products from concept to launch as an individual contributor, along with experience improving adoption, handling legacy data migrations, and growing commercial metrics such as AUM and FX or transaction revenue. Comfort with AI applications and AI evaluation methods is important, as is the ability to reason backward from ambitious growth targets using structured analysis.

Working Style and Behavioural Fit

Sleek values people who take full responsibility for outcomes, stay humble, work with structure, and pay close attention to detail. Success in this role also depends on being a strong listener and a clear communicator, especially in a multicultural environment. The company looks for someone who can bridge technical and commercial teams, influence alignment, and combine strategy with hands-on execution.

Interview Process

The hiring process is expected to take no more than three weeks, although the sequence of interviews may differ. Depending on your location and the role, interviews may be held by video call or in person.

  • 30-minute conversation with Talent Acquisition
  • 60-minute technical interview with the Product Team
  • 60-minute AI skills interview with the AI Lead
  • Final discussion with the CRO
  • Verbal or email offer, followed by a few short reference calls

Background Screening

Sleek is a regulated business and may conduct background verification depending on the role. This can include checks on education, criminal history, political exposure, and bankruptcy or adverse credit history. Consent will be requested before any checks are carried out. An adverse result may affect probation outcomes depending on the role.

Candidate Privacy

By applying, you confirm that you have read and agree to the candidate data privacy statement available on Sleek’s website.

Benefits and Work Arrangement

The role is fully remote, with home-based work five days a week. Candidates based in Singapore will follow a hybrid arrangement. Flexible start times are available when needed, provided work is completed and communication remains proactive. Employees can also work remotely from anywhere in the world for one month each year.

Sleek offers competitive pay, generous paid time off, and holiday schedules. Some employees may also be eligible for an employee share ownership plan. In addition, the company supports learning and development through internal and external training programmes and offers strong exposure to AI-led innovation.

Sleek is a certified B Corp and positions itself as a purpose-driven, inclusive, and collaborative workplace.

Additional Information

The company is building toward a public listing in the Asia Pacific region and continues to invest in its regional AI capabilities. The culture places importance on kindness, diversity, and working with a light touch rather than taking itself too seriously.
