About Fiskil and Role Overview
Fiskil is innovating within the Open Data economy by providing a developer platform that enables secure sharing of user-permissioned data through APIs and robust infrastructure. The company is seeking its first dedicated Growth Marketing Lead to establish and lead the marketing engine from inception. This position emphasizes hands-on involvement in product storytelling, content creation, SEO, website optimization, sales enablement, AI workflow integration, analytics, and demand generation.
Work Environment and Employment Details
- Work onsite in the Sydney office three days per week.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Hiring manager: CEO Jake.
Key Values and Qualities
- Ownership and agility: ability to transform initial ideas into clear messaging and actionable marketing campaigns, measure outcomes, and iterate for improvement.
- Excellent marketing judgment: focus on clear positioning, precise copywriting, smart distribution, timing, segmentation, and commercial intent beyond producing more content.
- Technical and business curiosity: eagerness to deeply understand products, customers, markets, buyer personas, and the desired customer actions.
- Clear communication skills: translate complex technical and regulatory information into simple, credible, and valuable messages for landing pages, emails, case studies, sales materials, and campaigns.
- Utilization of AI and automation: use AI tools and systems to boost quality, increase output efficiency, reduce manual effort, and develop repeatable marketing processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead growth marketing efforts including discovery, conversion, lifecycle marketing, automation, and measurement.
- Enhance website messaging, design landing pages, optimize contact flows, conversion funnels, and onboarding experiences.
- Create performance marketing programs that increase customer discovery of Fiskil.
- Transform product features, customer stories, regulatory updates, and market insights into campaigns, sales assets, and supporting content.
- Develop sales enablement materials such as one-pagers, battlecards, case studies, product explainers, comparison pages, and campaign resources.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, lifecycle nurturing, and customer re-engagement programs.
- Maintain and optimize HubSpot workflows, segmentation, automation, campaign tracking, and reporting standards.
- Leverage AI tools to scale research, content generation, campaign variants, lead list creation, reporting, and internal workflow automation.
- Collaborate closely with sales, product, engineering teams, and the founder to convert complex go-to-market ideas into streamlined, repeatable systems.
Candidate Profile
- Strong growth-marketing experience paired with product insight and technical curiosity.
- Fluent in clear messaging and persuasive copywriting targeted at complex technical products.
- Proficient in full-funnel growth tactics including awareness, acquisition, conversion, nurturing, sales enablement, and retention strategies.
- Hands-on experience with SEO, landing pages, email marketing, lifecycle campaigns, demand generation, and marketing automation.
- Experience with HubSpot or comparable CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Data-driven focus emphasizing traffic, conversion rates, lead generation, sales meetings, qualified pipelines, activation metrics, and iterative learning.
- Advanced use of AI for research, writing, analysis, automation, workflow creation, and campaign production.
- Comfortable working with no-code/low-code automation tools, dashboards, and modern go-to-market systems independently.
- Excited by complex, technical B2B products and markets.
Bonus Qualifications
- Background in B2B SaaS, developer tools, API platforms, fintech, open banking, data infrastructure, identity, compliance, regtech, or enterprise software sectors.
- Experience building systems from scratch in startup or scaleup environments.
- Technical, analytical, engineering, computer science, commerce, or data-related education or experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating landing pages, marketing campaigns, lifecycle flows, automations, dashboards, AI workflows, or growth systems developed.
Position Clarifications
- This role integrates pipeline and conversion goals with marketing systems and measurable growth — it is not a purely brand-focused position.
- While content creation is important, the role also requires campaign development, workflow building, reporting, and distribution strategy.
- This is a comprehensive full-funnel growth role, not solely focused on performance marketing optimization.
- The position requires hands-on execution, including writing, building, launching, measuring, and refining initiatives, rather than strategy-only.
- There is no current responsibility for managing a team; this is an individual contributor role.
Application Process
Applicants should submit a CV; cover letters are not required. The hiring process includes two stages: an initial call with a team member followed by a case study interview session for shortlisted candidates.
