Overview

This is a strategic, high-ownership growth position based in Nigeria and focused on expanding a marketplace that relies on paid task contributors. The work centers on building a participant acquisition system that brings in people who not only register, but also complete paid tasks and come back consistently. The role is highly experimental, fast-paced, and deeply data-led, with responsibility spanning from idea generation through execution. You will work across several geographies from the outset, tailoring growth approaches to local market conditions. Success will be judged by activated participants and repeat usage, not by vanity metrics such as clicks or impressions. This role suits someone who approaches growth through systems, automation, and compounding loops rather than one-off campaigns.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and expand a participant acquisition system that gains momentum over time through organic loops, referral mechanisms, community-driven distribution, partnership channels, and country-specific outreach.
  • Create and automate growth processes using AI-enabled and agentic tools, including LLM-based workflows, scraping setups, no-code orchestration platforms such as Zapier, Make, or n8n, and lightweight data-processing methods.
  • Spot promising new markets using demand indicators and supply-side economics, then adapt channel strategy to fit each geography.
  • Take ownership of core growth metrics such as cost per activated participant, task completion rate, repeat participation, and lifetime task value by region, and improve them continuously.
  • Run frequent experiments on a weekly basis, quickly testing ideas, removing weak channels, and scaling the growth loops that perform best.

Required experience and capabilities

  • Background in scaling a marketplace, gig platform, or other two-sided ecosystem with clear impact on activation and retention.
  • Ability to think in scalable systems and design growth mechanisms that compound rather than isolated marketing pushes.
  • Practical experience with automation and agent-style tooling, such as LLM workflows, scraping, APIs, and no-code or low-code orchestration tools.
  • Exposure to emerging or diverse international markets, along with an understanding of how distribution works differently across local contexts.
  • Strong hands-on execution skills, including writing copy, building scripts, setting up dashboards, and working independently before widening the effort.
  • Comfort with analytics and the ability to connect actions to activation, retention, and revenue outcomes.
