Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Director specializing in Concessions and Project Finance to spearhead the conceptualization, structuring, funding, and oversight of extensive energy and infrastructure ventures. This pivotal role demands the capability to identify promising investments, lead negotiations for concession contracts, secure financing, and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the formulation and administration of concession projects within infrastructure and energy sectors.
- Structure, negotiate, and oversee concession agreements, PPP contracts, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), and related documentation.
- Lead project financing stages including financial modeling, capital structuring involving debt and equity, lender coordination, and achieving financial close.
- Pinpoint and appraise new investment prospects in energy and infrastructure domains.
- Collaborate extensively with government agencies, investors, lenders, advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage project development lifecycle from initial concept through to financial close and operational phases.
- Perform thorough commercial, financial, and risk analyses for prospective projects.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance growth and expand the project portfolio.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of expertise in managing and developing energy and infrastructure assets, with comprehensive knowledge of concessions and PPP frameworks.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Concession Agreements, PPAs, BOT/BOOT arrangements, and PPP models.
- Extensive background in Project Finance with proven success in negotiating and closing financing deals.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional commercial acumen, financial analysis, and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and effective stakeholder relationship management.
- Fluency in English is essential.
