Group Director of Strategy, Improvement & Redesign

Overview

Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG) seeks a distinguished senior leader to fill the role of Deputy Group Chief Integration Officer and Director of Strategy, Improvement and Redesign. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to influence healthcare transformation across Lincolnshire.

Working collaboratively with Executive Directors, Clinical Leaders, Place-Based Partners, Local Authorities, and the DLN Integrated Care Board, this role focuses on spearheading innovation, enhancing patient outcomes, and executing significant health and care service transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Strategy, Planning, Improvement, Transformation, and Strategic Partnerships to ensure delivery of the Group’s objectives.
• Serve as deputy to the Group Chief Integration Officer, representing LCHG at Board, system, and regional forums.
• Guide the creation of the Trust’s Strategic Framework encompassing vision, goals, and long-term plans.
• Manage the annual planning cycle aligning resources with strategic priorities and performance targets.
• Champion extensive transformation and redesign initiatives, fostering innovation and integration across services.
• Oversee the Quality Improvement agenda, embedding continuous methods to promote sustainable advancement.
• Act as a key system leader building cooperative partnerships across Integrated Care Systems, local authorities, commissioners, primary care, and external agencies.
• Lead major service innovations and provide strategic guidance to the Board and Executive Team regarding national policies and evolving healthcare trends.
• Develop and lead a high-performing Strategy, Improvement and Redesign team.
• Direct high-profile Trust-wide and system-wide projects aligned with integrated care and NHS Long Term Plan objectives.
