Role Overview
A leading independent hospitality company is seeking a Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their Executive Leadership Team based in Oxfordshire with a hybrid working model. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will spearhead operational strategies across the UK and contribute to the organization’s international expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive commercial performance and EBITDA growth across a complex, multi-site hospitality business.
- Oversee operational excellence to ensure the highest standards across all locations.
- Manage various head office support departments and provide leadership to a large, expanding leadership team.
- Collaborate with the Board to implement strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing operations and enhancing digital transformation.
Requirements and Experience
- Demonstrated executive leadership in hospitality, catering, or similar multi-site service industries.
- Proven ability to enhance operational performance, foster commercial growth, and lead business transformation efforts.
- Experience managing large, geographically diverse teams and supporting head office functions.
- Strong financial acumen and strategic planning skills combined with a collaborative leadership approach suited for Board-level engagement.
- Background in supporting business growth and international development is preferred.
