Role Overview

This position involves delivering landscaping and gardening services to several Early Learning sector sites. The role requires autonomous work to uphold high standards across assigned locations, deliver excellent customer service, and foster strong professional relationships.

The role is situated in Gold Coast, Queensland.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, sweeping, leaf blowing, pruning, hedge and tree trimming, weed management, and maintenance of artificial turf.
• Refresh garden areas with activities including laying woodchip mulch, maintaining sand pits, and planting new flora.
• Perform external building pressure washing when necessary.
• Collect and dispose of garden waste at approved waste transfer stations.
• Ensure timely updates on all assigned jobs are communicated.
• Proactively identify and address grounds maintenance and minor repair needs.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in grounds or landscaping maintenance roles.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and competence in towing a trailer, which is mandatory.
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, maintain dependability with minimal supervision, and make quick, sound decisions.
• Comfortable using technology such as iPhones for job and location monitoring purposes.
