Position Overview

Join Woolworths Group as a Facilities Maintenance Technician based in Hobart, Tasmania, focusing on supporting 37 stores across the region with essential building and shopfitting upkeep. This full-time, permanent opportunity offers flexible hours within the window of Monday to Friday, 6am to 6pm, and includes a fully maintained company vehicle and equipment allowance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct non-urgent maintenance and repair tasks related to building infrastructure and shopfitting as requested by stores.
• Provide handyperson services across approximately 50 Woolworths locations throughout Tasmania.
• Regularly travel by road to various sites to perform maintenance duties.
• Carry out routine inspections and audits to ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Adhere strictly to Work, Health & Safety guidelines while minimizing customer disruption.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience delivering maintenance in customer-focused and multi-site environments.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
• Competence in managing and completing assigned work orders from start to finish.
• Strong customer service orientation with an outcomes-driven approach and team spirit.
• Possession of a qualified trades certificate or equivalent is desirable.
• Must hold a current driver’s license.
• Commitment to working safely in line with strict Health & Safety policies.
