Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Ensure the cleanliness, tidiness, and presentable condition of the park daily.
- Maintain park facilities including amenities, camp kitchens, and playgrounds, ensuring they are clean and well-kept.
- Perform grounds upkeep such as landscaping, lawn mowing, and litter collection.
- Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on park accommodations and facilities.
- Manage, maintain, and care for park equipment and tools properly.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure environment for both guests and staff.
- Attend promptly and professionally to guest requests.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Previous experience in grounds keeping or similar maintenance roles.
- Competency in building and grounds maintenance tasks.
- High attention to detail to uphold safety and visual aesthetics of the park.
- Proficient in operating groundskeeping machinery and power tools safely.
- Excellent time management skills with flexibility to work on a rotating seven-day roster.
- Trade qualification is advantageous.
- Experience with pool maintenance is a plus.
- Possession of a current valid driver's license is mandatory.
Additional Information and Physical Requirements
Applicants must be prepared for physically demanding duties including lifting weights up to 20kg as well as frequent kneeling, squatting, handling chemicals, and operating machinery. A Federal Police Clearance will be required before employment commencement.
