Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join a marketing team that is handling a large increase in work after a recent acquisition. The role is centered on producing smaller, quick-turn creative requests and supporting internal marketing leaders while an outside agency manages the overall creative direction. This is a strong fit for a designer who is meticulous, comfortable with structure, and experienced in brand-led environments.
What You’ll Do
- Adapt and refresh design templates provided by an external agency while keeping all output aligned with brand standards.
- Create marketing materials such as e-cards, flyers, web banners, promotional landing pages, and PowerPoint decks for marketing leadership.
- Partner with regional marketing teams to deliver polished creative assets on schedule across multiple campaigns.
- Use web tools and platforms, including HTML, HubSpot, and WordPress, to build and update digital content.
Must-Have Experience
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Practical working knowledge of HTML for digital design production.
- Strong PowerPoint skills for executive and leadership presentations.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience working with established brand systems and prebuilt design templates.
- Experience supporting marketing teams in a fast-moving, high-volume setting.
- Exposure to HubSpot and WordPress.
Design Skills and Tools
- Strong eye for clean, modern visual design.
- Ability to organize information clearly and use hierarchy effectively.
- Comfort working within detailed brand guidelines.
- Experience creating assets for both digital channels and presentations.
Portfolio Requirement
An online portfolio is required. It should show organized, polished design work that demonstrates strong visual hierarchy and consistent use of brand standards.
Additional Details
- The schedule is 15 hours per week, with onsite attendance three days each week. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are preferred, though morning or afternoon timing is flexible.
- This is a 6-month contract assignment with a strong possibility of extension.
- Software and equipment will be provided in a PC environment.
- The role offers a chance to help build out a growing internal design function during a period of expansion.
