Graphic Designer - Packaging, Branding & Social Media

Overview

We are looking for a creative and skilled Graphic Designer to join our marketing department on a maternity cover contract of up to 12 months. Our company is a prominent manufacturer and distributor of amusement and redemption products, including licensed and own-brand items sold across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. Products range from soft toys and games to novelties, stationery, housewares, electronic gifts, and confectionery.

Key Responsibilities

• Create eye-catching packaging artwork for both licensed and own-brand products.
• Develop branding concepts for new product lines.
• Design marketing collateral, sales aids, and event-related graphics.
• Produce engaging social media visuals and assist with campaign execution.
• Update existing designs to comply with customer and retailer specifications.
• Prepare print-ready files suitable for production processes.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and brand consistency.
• Support additional marketing initiatives and communication efforts as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience working as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing print and digital projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Experience designing packaging and marketing materials is essential.
• Familiarity with creating content and assets for social media campaigns.
• Knowledge of AI design tools for creative workflow enhancements.
• Basic video editing skills.
• Experience using Canva and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Industry experience in toys, gifts, FMCG, or consumer products.
• Exposure to licensed brand work.
