Role Overview
FOCO is hiring a Junior Graphic Designer to join a high-energy creative team that produces work at scale. This position is well suited for an early-career designer who is excited by sports, pop culture, and licensed consumer goods.
The role involves developing strong visual assets from idea stage through final delivery. Success in this position depends on creativity, careful attention to detail, and the ability to handle several assignments at once while meeting deadlines. You will also work with teams across Product Development, Marketing, and Licensing to create products and campaigns that resonate with fans.
Key Responsibilities
- Create graphics and layouts for digital, print, and product use.
- Build creative ideas that fit FOCO’s brand standards and licensed partner guidelines.
- Take projects from brief stage through final production.
- Produce product artwork, marketing materials, and campaign visuals.
- Work within strict licensing and branding requirements for sports and entertainment properties.
- Help strengthen brand value through clear and engaging visual communication.
- Track trends in sports, pop culture, fashion, music, and entertainment.
- Collect and share visual references that shape design direction.
- Contribute fresh ideas while keeping the work aligned to the brand.
- Partner with internal teams to deliver polished creative output.
- Handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment with tight timelines.
- Explain and present design choices clearly to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3+ years of graphic design experience, including internship or professional work.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of creative projects is required.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, PowerPoint, or Keynote.
- Good understanding of layout, typography, and composition principles.
- Ability to juggle several projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Preferred background in sports, licensing, retail, or consumer products.
- Exposure to motion graphics or interactive design is a plus.
- Experience with professional or collegiate sports brands is advantageous.
- Interest in sports, pop culture, and fan-focused products is preferred.
