Assistant Art Director

About the Role

Our Berlin-based creative design studio specializes in developing interior concepts, stage designs, film sets, advertising spaces, pop-up stores, installations, and interiors for both national and international productions. We work meticulously from concept to completed set, emphasizing detail and design excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in crafting set and room design concepts
• Develop moodboards, presentations, and design proposals
• Conduct research on materials, furniture, props, and set dressings
• Liaise with suppliers, workshops, and production companies
• Produce sketches, layouts, and visual representations
• Coordinate and prepare production activities
• Support during setup, teardown, and filming sessions

Candidate Profile

• Background in Art Department, Set Design, Interior Design, Scenography, or related disciplines
• Keen aesthetic sense for design, colors, materials, and details
• Independent, well-organized, and methodical work approach
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop and InDesign
• Preferred experience with 3D software such as SketchUp or Fusion 360
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Proficient in German and English communication
