Role Summary

This position involves joining one of Partly's research and development teams to address challenging engineering problems. You will contribute to meaningful projects that have significant client impact.

The role includes designing, architecting, developing, testing, and delivering scalable software solutions while learning from experienced engineers and honing your skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively within R&D teams to create projects that solve real-world problems.
• Design and develop scalable, maintainable software systems with high standards of quality.
• Participate in the full software delivery lifecycle from concept through deployment.
• Engage in continuous learning of best practices in software engineering.

Qualifications & Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated passion for solving complex technical challenges.
• Strong foundational knowledge in software engineering principles.
• Experience building scalable, maintainable solutions rather than just applications.
• Engagement in personal programming or software projects outside academic coursework.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and learn autonomously.
• Willingness and ability to be onsite in Christchurch, New Zealand, for the internship duration.
