Role Overview

This graduate position in Deloitte's Cyber, Privacy & Resilience Team involves contributing to securing information systems, protecting data privacy, and enhancing business continuity for clients. The team comprises around 30 cybersecurity professionals nationwide and operates within the Technology & Transformation division, delivering services focused on Strategy & Governance, Implementation & Operations, and Detection & Response.

Typical Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team members to perform security risk assessments, uncover vulnerabilities, and recommend effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Support establishing and enforcing organizational security and privacy policies tailored to clients' needs.
• Gain insights into client businesses to propose practical cyber security implementations that safeguard systems, personnel, and customers.
• Work collaboratively to design and deploy resilient cybersecurity solutions across various industries.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for cyber security, keeping current with emerging trends and developments in the field.
• Preferably possessing or pursuing relevant industry certifications and practical experience with diverse cybersecurity tools and frameworks.
• No mandatory prior experience, though exposure to part-time roles or internships in cyber security, customer service, retail, or hospitality is advantageous.
• Currently undertaking tertiary studies in related areas such as Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or Cybersecurity. Additional external cyber or cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google) are a strong asset.
• Interest in understanding organizational operations with a client-focused mindset.
• Highly adaptable with a proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming challenges.
