Role overview
Amazon is seeking a high-potential graduate to join its Human Resources function as an HR Partner. In this position, you will serve as the primary HR contact for Team Leads and Area Managers within an Amazon Fulfillment Center, helping shape a strong associate experience and supporting the wider people agenda.
The role centers on handling associate queries, supporting low-risk employee matters such as conflict resolution, and assisting with employee relations investigations. You will also work closely with operations and HR teams to run standard company programs and look for ways to simplify processes and improve the employee experience.
Key relationships
You will work with FC Associates, Team Leads, Area Managers, site HR teams, HR Shared Services, Payroll, and High Volume Hiring teams.
What you will do
- Advise and support Team Leads and Area Managers on HR-related issues.
- Handle employee cases while following local legal requirements.
- Assist with investigations in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Help improve the workplace environment and strengthen employee engagement.
- Work with internal teams to deliver recruitment, hiring, and engagement initiatives.
- Support the creation, rollout, and upkeep of communication plans with the HR team.
- Take ownership of HR projects or contribute to assigned initiatives.
- Gather and interpret data to help the HR team understand trends in attrition, attendance, workforce planning, recruitment, and engagement.
- Carry out compliance audits and apply knowledge of local employment law with management oversight.

The People Experience and Technology Solutions (PXT) team is responsible for supporting Amazon employees and ensuring a positive workplace experience. The team takes a proactive, end-to-end approach to people management and focuses on resolving engagement issues quickly so operations and customer experience remain smooth.
The team works to maintain high standards and support Amazon’s broader business goals through a customer-focused and continuous-improvement mindset.
Location
This role is based in the Greater Northampton Area, United Kingdom, with site locations mentioned across Coalville, Derby, Kettering, Leeds, North Ferriby, Peterborough, and Swindon. Manchester, Northampton, and Wakefield were listed as no longer available.
Eligibility and qualifications
This opportunity is aimed at recent graduates. Candidates should have completed a university degree before the start date or graduated within the last 24 months. Strong verbal and written English skills are required.
Experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook in a professional setting is required, along with the ability to analyze data and prepare leadership reports. Applicants must also be able to work with confidential and sensitive HR information responsibly.
Preferred experience includes knowledge of HRIS systems, familiarity with basic employment law and HR or payroll processes, experience in a fast-moving or international environment, a bachelor’s degree or higher in human resources, and exposure to working with stakeholders at different seniority levels.
