About the Role
ATCO Gas is seeking recent graduates or final year students in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting. This Graduate Engineer position offers an excellent launchpad into the engineering profession within a progressive and innovative utility company based in Hammond Park, Western Australia.
Program Structure
This is a two-year rotational program starting in September 2026, that will provide exposure to three different engineering teams throughout the tenure, shifting every eight months. Key areas include Asset Management, Risk Management, and Technical Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with seasoned engineers to hone technical competencies.
- Develop relationships with industry stakeholders, government bodies, and contractors to facilitate successful project completion.
- Acquire experience in areas including risk and safety management systems, asset lifecycle planning, and adherence to engineering standards and specifications.

- Improve communication skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and time management capabilities.

Candidate Requirements
