Technical MEP Engineer – Trading Division

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Technical MEP Engineer to join our Trading Division, located in Doha, Qatar. This full-time onsite position requires close involvement in supporting our MEP trading activities by leveraging deep technical expertise related to MEP products.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate MEP material submittals along with associated technical documents.
• Critically assess product datasheets, catalogues, drawings, and manufacturer documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Confirm that MEP materials meet the specific requirements outlined in project specifications.
• Create compliance declarations, technical comparison analyses, and reports detailing deviations.
• Facilitate communication with suppliers, manufacturers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
• Assist in the selection of MEP products by providing informed technical guidance and recommendations.

Qualifications & Expertise

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrate experience relevant to MEP materials, trading, contracting, or construction sectors.
• Possess sound knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Capable of interpreting technical specifications and engineering documentation effectively.
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail along with strong document management skills.
