About the Role
The Graduate Analyst position within AlphaSights' Strategy & Analytics team centers on empowering senior leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions that fuel business growth. This role supports strategic initiatives across the company by delivering quantitative performance assessments and guiding decision-making with analytical rigor. Situated in London, the analyst collaborates with diverse teams regionally and functionally to advance strategic projects and contribute to the company’s evolving commercial and operational model.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract and analyze data from proprietary systems to uncover impactful insights.
- Communicate analytical findings effectively to senior leadership across all departments to influence strategic direction.
- Assume responsibility for business outcomes related to strategic initiatives managed, from conceptualization to execution.
- Manage critical processes that enhance commercial and operational performance, including market benchmarking, budgeting, and talent analytics.
Candidate Profile
- Open to recent graduates or those without prior work experience; internships or experience working with business data are advantageous.
- Strong aptitude for quantitative analysis and problem-solving, ideally evidenced by a minimum 2:1 degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or Finance.
- Proactive and highly motivated with robust organizational skills to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet stringent deadlines.
- Driven to make a tangible impact by delivering actionable insights that promote company growth.
- Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, and presentations, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences and incorporating feedback effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to tasks.
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL is advantageous.
- Applicants must successfully complete a quantitative assessment to progress in the selection process.
