Role overview
This position is focused on managing government relations and employee documentation for a Saudi Arabia-based operation in Jeddah. The role supports day-to-day compliance with local labor, immigration, and regulatory requirements, while also assisting internal teams and leadership with related administrative processes.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the processing and renewal of exit/re-entry visas, iqamas, and other residency-related permits for employees.
- Handle business visa arrangements and prepare invitation letters for visitors coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Draft and issue official identity letters and other employment-related documents.
- Work with government bodies to keep the organization aligned with local labor and immigration rules.
- Keep records current and monitor the progress of government service requests, including baladya cards and residency permits.
- Respond to employees with timely guidance and status updates on their government-related applications.
- Help identify and resolve delays or complications in employee government services.
- Track baladya health requirements for factory associates and arrange appointments as needed.
- Support people and organization activities during onboarding and offboarding, including GOSI, contracts, and Qwia-related processes.
- Provide administrative support to the Corporate Affairs Manager when required.
- Manage approvals, licenses, certificates, and other official documentation tied to company operations.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and brief management on any business impact.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable requirements.
Required competencies and qualifications
- Experience handling employee visas, permits, and government service matters is preferred.
- Comfort working through uncertainty and taking initiative proactively.
- Strong client orientation and the ability to interact professionally with senior leadership.
- Well-developed communication and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and the capability to manage several requests at the same time.
- Exposure to Saudi labor and immigration rules is considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and document control systems.
- Solid understanding of the Saudi regulatory environment, particularly Customs and FDA-related processes.
- Good negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage complex assignments.
- Competence in MS Office and related business tools.
- Good English proficiency for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
