Global Strategic Associate Lead, UAE

Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned SAP expert to assume a senior leadership position within EPI-USE Labs' Transformation Global Service Line. This role involves leveraging deep knowledge of SAP solutions, client engagements, and the global SAP ecosystem to foster growth and deliver exceptional services across our worldwide specialist service lines.

This is a globally-focused role requiring flexibility to operate across time zones and willingness to travel internationally up to 15–45% or potentially more. As a senior leadership member, you will exemplify collaboration, ethics, and teamwork throughout the company. The role demands a blend of commercial insight, strategic decision-making ability, and a thorough understanding of business cost structures. Building mutual trust, influencing through respectful dialogue, and applying strong technical and functional SAP expertise or broader IT consultancy experience are critical to success.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Service Line (GSL) Lead by managing project delivery, allocating resources, ensuring project success, overseeing personnel, and advancing business development efforts.
• Formulate strategic initiatives for GSL resourcing and growth.
• Understand and align decisions with GSL objectives comprehensively.
• Drive process and product improvements across GSL, collaborating with other units as needed.
• Apply financial acumen to review past performances and forecast future GSL outcomes.
• Represent EPI-USE Labs at major client and industry gatherings, including public speaking engagements.
• Act as deputy to the GSL Lead when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or engineering fields, or alternatively, at least five additional years of SAP industry experience.
• Relevant SAP certifications.
• Certifications in database administration, cloud technologies, data reporting, ETL processes, or enterprise architecture (such as TOGAF).

Experience and Skills

• Over twelve years’ experience in IT, including significant leadership roles.
• At least two years of experience managing budgets and financial forecasting in leadership positions.
• Proven ability to lead complex, high-pressure commercial businesses.
• Advanced knowledge of multiple SAP modules and the SAP data model.
• Innovative, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Fluency in English with superior client communication capabilities.
• Strong diplomatic and political skills for effective listening and judicious decision-making in complex contexts.
• Capability to mentor staff across both technical and interpersonal skills aligned with company objectives.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in pre-sales, solution design, pricing strategies and responding to RFQs or RFPs.
• In-depth expertise in SAP landscape management including tools such as workbench, transportation system, client structures, SolMan/CALM, and integration of SAP/non-SAP systems.
