Role Overview
This role is based at Abbott's Galway site, within the Informatics Division of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. It involves bridging customer insights with innovative software solutions to enhance both client and patient experiences worldwide. The position encompasses spearheading product strategy, roadmap development, implementation, and stakeholder engagement for next-generation software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market and competitor research and collate customer feedback to inform product direction.
- Benchmark against best-in-class competitors and investigate emerging technologies relevant to the sector.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to interpret the Voice of the Customer and assist in product discovery sessions.
- Drive go-to-market activities alongside the Product Manager and manage content for intranet and website platforms.
- Lead marketing efforts targeted at partners and distributors, nurturing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Represent Abbott at industry events and speaking engagements, and partner with US and Strategic Marketing for training, sales tools, and campaign creation.
- Define key performance indicators and analyze product data and user feedback to assess success and identify areas for enhancement.
- Prepare regular performance reports and executive summaries for leadership.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards, corporate policies, and foster positive communications across employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines; Master’s degree preferred.
- A decade of experience in marketing, including material creation, storytelling, agency collaboration, reporting, and tracking with proficiency in PPC, Google Analytics, and SEO.
- Demonstrated success managing IT/software products through the complete lifecycle.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as part of the role.
