Position Overview

The Product Development Country Manager will spearhead all product development efforts within Germany, focusing on delivering innovative crop protection solutions that benefit growers and enhance ADAMA's product range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all product development initiatives throughout Germany.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate comprehensive field trials and development programs.
  • Oversee development budgets and manage relationships with external trial providers and research partners.
  • Provide technical expertise and efficacy data to support product registration processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Regulatory teams and German authorities on registration matters.
  • Work with Marketing to craft product positioning and strategies ahead of launch.
  • Contribute to portfolio planning, innovation efforts, and strategic development projects.
  • Represent Germany within the larger EAME Product Development organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, advisors, contractors, and key industry stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in plant protection product development within the agricultural industry.
  • Deep agronomic knowledge specific to the German market, including crops and crop protection methods.
  • Hands-on experience managing field trials and development projects.
  • Strong project management skills capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to product registration.
  • Experience collaborating with external research organizations and field trial contractors.
  • Relevant academic qualifications, preferably a Master's degree in Agricultural Science or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ARM trial management software and artificial intelligence is a plus.
  • Fluent in both German and English languages.
