Overview
Join a leading international organization specializing in language and professional skills certifications, and spearhead the worldwide commercial growth of the LANGUAGECERT Test of English (LTE). This role is critical in driving global expansion through strategic partnerships, franchise development, and market entry initiatives, focusing on established and emerging territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement a comprehensive global growth strategy for LTE.
- Assess and prioritize promising international markets to maximize LTE's presence.
- Develop and nurture a strong pipeline of potential investors, franchisees, distributors, and strategic collaborators around the world.
- Engage with entrepreneurs, educational entities, and investors to facilitate new LANGUAGECERT market introductions.
- Lead high-level commercial negotiations securing franchise, licensing, and partnership deals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior government officials and educational institutions globally.
- Expand the network of authorized partners and representatives to boost market penetration and revenue.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure effective onboarding and product launches.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success teams to execute expansion plans.
- Represent the company at global industry events, conferences, and government forums.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities to inform leadership decisions.
- Manage opportunity pipelines and sales forecasts accurately using CRM tools.
- Achieve ambitious revenue targets and expand market share in alignment with business goals.
- Uphold the organization’s core values including Quality, Innovation, Passion, Integrity, Clarity, and Velocity throughout all activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, International Business, Marketing, Education, or related fields; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
- At least 10 years of international business development experience, including 5 years in a senior commercial leadership capacity.
- Demonstrable success in expanding international markets and growing business at scale.
- Experience in franchise/channel development, strategic partnerships, or EdTech market expansions.
- Well-established global network within education, assessment, certification, EdTech, government, or workforce development sectors.
- Proven ability to collaborate with investors and education entrepreneurs worldwide.
- Deep understanding of international education systems and English language assessment markets.
- Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills with experience engaging executives and public officials.
- Strong commercial insight with an aptitude for assessing and executing complex global business deals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM software.
- Fluent English language skills at C2 certification level preferred; additional languages beneficial.
- Willingness to undertake frequent international travel.
