Currently, we are diversifying into the lifestyle and specialty retail markets with a distinctive range of premium apparel and travel bags aimed at men who desire to maintain a polished look whether at the office, church, or traveling for business or leisure.

Position Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Territory Sales Representative to spearhead the expansion of our specialty retail presence in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Western Tennessee. This individual will be responsible for introducing our premium apparel and travel bag collection to prominent men's specialty retailers within these areas, including menswear boutiques and upscale golf and lifestyle stores. As the brand ambassador for Stitch Golf’s growth beyond its traditional golf clientele, you will play an integral role on the retail floor.

Territory

The role covers Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Western Tennessee. Finalized account allocations and considerations for any border markets will be addressed during interviews.

Core Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new specialty retail accounts for Stitch Golf’s apparel and travel bag lines across the designated territory.
• Establish and nurture an expanding portfolio of premium men's retail clients, ranging from independent boutiques to multi-location specialty chains.
• Provide in-person product presentations showcasing seasonal collections to drive retail sell-in and orders.
• Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, presenting, closing deals, reorders, and sustaining client relationships.
• Regularly travel within the territory to maintain face-to-face engagements and solidify customer relations.
• Represent Stitch Golf at regional trade shows by staffing booths and generating new prospective accounts.
• Collaborate with the internal Stitch Golf team on seasonal launches, gather market intelligence, and assist with strategic plans for territory expansion.
• Maintain updated knowledge of the men’s specialty retail market and competitive brand activities within the territory.

Desired Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in outside sales, preferably within apparel, golf, or related lifestyle product sectors.
• Existing relationships with men’s specialty retailers across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Western Tennessee, enabling an immediate competitive advantage.
• Proven track record of prospecting new clients and growing existing accounts instead of simply maintaining status quo.
• Comfortable with extensive travel within the territory and motivated by it.
• Previous trade show participation and willingness to represent the brand at events as a routine responsibility.
• Entrepreneurial approach, taking ownership of the territory with ambition to cultivate a prosperous long-term business.
• Strong skills in presenting and negotiating, with the professionalism necessary to uphold a premium brand image in front of retail buyers.

Compensation & Benefits

• Earn a 10% commission on all sales generated within the territory.
• Receive product samples and line books to support sales efforts.
• Trade show travel expenses are fully covered when representing Stitch Golf products.
