German Language Specialist - Accounts Payable - Service Desk

Role summary

This position is for a Service Desk Associate in Accounts Payable with strong German language capability. The role acts as the first touchpoint for vendor and employee questions inside the Business Services Center, with a focus on supporting German-speaking stakeholders. You will either resolve basic queries at the first level or direct them to the relevant Accounts Payable specialist. The job also requires consistent delivery against agreed KPIs and SLAs between the Operating Companies and the Business Services Center, while staying within the established internal control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming questions from German-speaking vendors and employees, understand the issue, and provide first-level support or the right translation/interpretation where needed.
• Escalate more complex matters to the appropriate Accounts Payable team member in one of the core areas: Accounts Payable, Payments Processing, or Travel & Expenses.
• Maintain service performance at or above the service levels and metrics agreed with the Operating Companies.
• Work closely with the Service Management team to understand, track, and execute operational SLA requirements.
• Follow the defined escalation process for internal customer and supplier issues, and avoid bypassing standard procedures.
• Operate within the company’s internal control framework at all times.

Work location and schedule

The role is based in Airoli, Navi Mumbai and follows a fully office-based model. Daily attendance at the office is required, and the working shift is from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST. A home drop transport facility is provided by the company.

Eligibility

Open to graduates, including candidates with a B.Com background in Commerce.
