About the Role

Join Patterson Companies, Inc. as a General Manager in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where you will oversee and direct the branch's sales efforts and internal operations, leading the sales team to maximize growth and profitability while delivering excellent customer service. Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to develop strategies that drive the branch's success in the dental and animal health markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales activities, market trends, and customer requirements to enhance sales performance.
• Develop the sales team through continuous training, constructive feedback, and skill-building.
• Evaluate the performance of direct reports regularly to ensure high standards.
• Work alongside the Operations Manager to build a customer-centric culture within the branch and identify process improvements for cost reduction and efficiency.
• Take part in hiring decisions to ensure appropriate staffing and fulfillment of branch duties.
• Perform additional General Manager duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in sales, management, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience with demonstrated success.
• Experience in customer service, sales, and asset management favored, with previous supervisory roles overseeing sales teams highly preferred.
• Strong business insight, decisive leadership, and a customer-oriented approach are essential.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with the industry is advantageous.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $139,200 to $185,666.67 annually. Final compensation may vary based on location, experience, and skillset.
