About the Role
Shri Venkateshwara University is hiring a GDA & Housekeeping Supervisor for its Medical College & Hospital campus in Gajraula. The position focuses on keeping the clinical, academic, and residential parts of the campus clean, safe, and free from infection risks while supporting healthcare compliance and teaching-hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations and prepare shift-wise duty rosters for wards, ICUs, OTs, OPDs, lecture halls, hostels, laboratories, kitchens, and common corridors.
- Carry out regular inspections to check cleanliness levels, placement of equipment, and correct signage.
- Ensure that Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) rules and SOPs are followed consistently.
- Review temporary storage zones for issues such as leakage, foul smell, and pest-related concerns.
- Track and follow the staff training calendar.
- Handle biomedical waste and general waste segregation and disposal processes.
- Keep records and documentation ready for NABH requirements and support inspections by public-health, university, and fire officials.
- Monitor inventory and assets related to housekeeping operations.
- Respond to cleanliness-related complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Support safety measures and emergency response readiness across the campus.
- Work in a 24x7 rotating shift schedule.
- Coordinate effectively with the team and manage staff with strong communication and supervision skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in a medical college or hospital and familiarity with NABH standards.
