About the Role
Join Castelan Group, a recognized leader in furniture repair and care across the UK, as a Furniture Technician covering Liverpool and surrounding areas including Manchester, Preston and Stoke-On-Trent. This role involves visiting client homes and workplaces to evaluate furniture damage and provide expert repairs, enhancing the lifespan and appearance of diverse furniture pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site assessments and repairs of upholstery, leather, wooden furniture, and related items.
- Diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs meeting high-quality standards.
- Maintain detailed and timely reports of work completed.
- Aim for first-visit resolution meeting quality targets.
- Promote furniture care products appropriately to customers.
- Ensure upkeep and professional maintenance of company tools, equipment, and vehicle.
- Contribute feedback and suggestions to support continuous process improvement.
Candidate Profile
Essential Criteria:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possession of a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- Proven practical experience in repairs, particularly with furniture, wood, or leather craftsmanship.
- Comfort and confidence working independently in customer environments.
- Customer-centric approach coupled with strong interpersonal skills.

- Effective communication skills and time management capability.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to adhere to standardized procedures while tailoring approaches to individual client needs.
