Job description
Role purpose
This position focuses on finding and assessing investment opportunities that support the Group’s strategic agenda and long-term value creation. The analyst will review the business strength, growth outlook, and risk profile of potential investee companies, while making sure recommendations stay aligned with internal policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Build a pipeline of opportunities by connecting with venture capital firms, founders, and subject-matter specialists.
- Screen and evaluate investments to confirm alignment with the Group’s strategic priorities and value creation objectives.
- Analyze company financials, including past performance, forecasts, and funding requirements.
- Create financial models and valuation analyses to determine fair pricing and expected returns.
- Review each target’s business viability, growth potential, risk exposure, and fit with Group goals.
- Run end-to-end due diligence with support from internal teams and external advisors across financial, legal, and operational areas.
- Draft investment thesis papers that explain the rationale, key risks, strategic benefits, and projected upside.
- Support negotiations and transaction structuring so the deal delivers strong financial and strategic outcomes.
- Prepare and present investment cases to the investment committee, respond to questions, and obtain approvals.
- Monitor compliance with investment policies, governance frameworks, and applicable regulatory obligations.
Experience profile
The expected experience level is 0 to 2 years. Relevant background includes business development, fund investments, planning, or strategy, preferably within the telecom sector.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Investment is required. A bachelor’s degree in Finance is also listed as an additional educational background.
