Prior extensive fundraising experience is not required; enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to learn and grow in this career path are our priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming point of contact, addressing supporter inquiries with empathy and excellent customer service.
  • Manage donor relationships, including onboarding, supporting ongoing giving programs, and assisting community fundraisers to cultivate long-term supporters.
  • Provide administrative and correspondence support for the legacy program, including Gift in Wills and special events.
  • Coordinate the donation tin program by managing logistics, tracking, and secure collection.
  • Support and advise community fundraisers and third-party groups by supplying resources and guidance to ensure effective and safe fundraising.
  • Handle data management tasks like data entry, receipting, and maintaining records to deliver clean insights that support fundraising efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with Fundraising and Marketing teams, contributing to diverse campaigns and initiatives in a supportive workplace.
  • Witness the direct impact of your work daily through enhanced administrative and relationship-building contributions promoting animal welfare.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the emotional intelligence to sensitively manage conversations regarding legacy donations and Gift in Wills.
  • Comfortable interacting with supporters, volunteers, and stakeholders one-on-one and in group settings.
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in CRM database management and financial data processing.
  • Initiative and creativity to develop ideas and implement them effectively.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work beyond regular hours to attend community activities representing AWLQ.
