Full Time Supervisor - Pet Care & Wellness Specialist

About the Role

Join Petbarn, a leading specialty pet retailer in Australia, as a Full Time Supervisor at our Palmerston and Coconut Grove locations. In this position, you will guide pet owners to make informed decisions regarding the health, nutrition, and wellness of their pets, whether they are furry, feathered, or scaly companions. Your role involves building trust, fostering customer relationships, and positively impacting the lives of pets and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with supervisory duties.
• Offer informed and compassionate guidance on pet wellness products.
• Develop strong connections with customers through friendly and sincere service.
• Coach and train store team members to achieve excellent service standards and reach business goals.
• Maintain store organization and ensure shelves are well-stocked, including performing some heavy lifting.
• Handle sales transactions, returns, and process large purchases.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures along with associated security responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A genuine passion for animals and interacting with people.
• A minimum of two years' experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Personable, patient, and motivated to assist customers.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
