About the Role
Join Petbarn, Australia's premier specialty pet retailer, as a Full Time Supervisor at our Coffs Harbour store. You'll play a key role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager while helping pet owners select the most suitable health, nutrition, and wellness products for their pets. This role offers a blend of leadership, customer service, and hands-on store duties that contribute to a welcoming, knowledgeable environment for pet parents and their animals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with supervisory tasks to ensure smooth store operations.
- Offer expert, compassionate advice on pet wellness products tailored to various animal needs.
- Develop meaningful relationships with customers through friendly and genuine service.
- Coach and train the store team to achieve excellent customer service, meet business goals, and adopt best practices.
- Maintain store organization, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and tidily arranged, involving some physically demanding tasks.
- Assist customers with sales transactions, returns, and processing of significant purchases.
- Handle store opening and closing procedures, including security responsibilities.
Candidate Profile
- Passionate about animals and dedicated to delivering compassionate service to both pets and their owners.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a busy retail environment.
- Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
