Position Overview
A full-time live-in nanny position is available for a family residing in Upper East Side, Manhattan. The role involves caring for an 11-month-old child with working hours typically from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday or Monday through Saturday, based on mutual agreement. The position is set to begin in July 2025.

Core Responsibilities
- Designing and leading age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Engaging the child with reading, encouraging language skills, outdoor walks, and play-oriented learning.
- Managing nap times, soothing the child back to sleep, and assisting with bed and bath routines.
- Preparing solid foods, bottle feeding, and sterilizing equipment including breast pump parts.
- Changing diapers and ensuring all aspects of hygiene are maintained.
- Laundry duties specific to the child’s clothing and upkeep of nursery and common living spaces.
- Participating in activities such as swim lessons alongside the child and mother.
- Occasional travel accompanying the family.
- Additional household support such as family laundry and bed making may be requested, with salary reflecting any broader responsibilities.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of full-time nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
- Strong references from long-term positions.
- Authorization to work legally in the United States.
- Current vaccinations including Tdap, flu, COVID-19, and MMR.
- CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to renew before starting.
- Flexibility to work on holidays is a significant advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay ranging from $35 to $45 or more, depending on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.
- W-2 employment status with overtime pay for over 40 hours per week.
- Ten paid vacation days annually.
