Full-time GCE O/A Level Teachers

Position Overview

This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive teaching services for various subjects under the Singapore Cambridge GCE O and A Level curricula. Reporting directly to the Academic Director, the candidate will engage students through effective lesson delivery, ongoing progress monitoring, and dedicated mentorship to facilitate academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver full-time instruction in one or more of the specified GCE A Level subjects including General Paper, Mathematics, Chinese, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Management of Business, and Principles of Accounting.
• Teach GCE O Level subjects such as English Language, Elementary and Additional Mathematics, Chinese Language, Physics, Science combinations, Combined Humanities options, Business Studies, and Principles of Accounting.
• Create engaging lesson plans and supplementary teaching materials aligned with the latest Ministry of Education syllabus.
• Continuously evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Recognize individual student strengths and weaknesses to offer targeted interventions promptly.
• Prepare students for examinations using practice papers, revision sessions, and teaching effective exam strategies.
• Set and grade assessments and examination papers accurately and timely.
• Mentor students and nurture a motivating and positive learning environment conducive to academic achievement.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline complemented by at least three years of work or teaching experience.
• Exceptional fresh graduates with strong academic results in the relevant subjects are also welcome to apply.
• Previous teaching experience in local secondary schools or junior colleges is considered advantageous.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational capabilities.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and dedication towards enhancing student performance and well-being.
• Demonstrated passion for education and capacity to inspire students towards academic excellence.
