Role Overview
We seek outcome-driven lecturers who incorporate substantial practical skills and experiential learning in their teaching approach. Candidates should transcend classic textbook methods, offering interactive lectures, case study analyses, and contemporary industry practices to equip students for today’s market challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deliver compelling lectures, hands-on workshops, and case studies focused on modern business and economic environments.
- Develop practical syllabi, teaching materials, assignments, and detailed grading criteria.
- Support students via mentoring through applied projects, internship readiness, and research guidance.
- Engage in departmental duties including faculty meetings, accreditation efforts, and administrative tasks.
- Continuously update course content by integrating latest tools, software (such as accounting software and financial modeling), and applicable market trends.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related disciplines.
- At least two years of hands-on teaching or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrable ability to apply theoretical principles in practical, real-world contexts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills capable of breaking down complex concepts.
- Must be available to work onsite at the Gombe campus.
