Frontend Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at HBPad located in Alameda County, CA. This position involves contributing to impactful projects across our product domains using technologies like TypeScript, React, NodeJS, Java, and SpringBoot. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, solution architects, and designers to execute initiatives that drive our product forward with a focus on scalability and high-performance systems development within a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to significant initiatives spanning various product areas and technological stacks including frontend and backend technologies such as TypeScript, React, NodeJS, Java, and SpringBoot.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, solution architects, and designers to deliver comprehensive cross-functional projects.
• Play an integral role in shaping and advancing the product vision.
• Develop and maintain systems built for scalability and optimal performance.
• Operate effectively within a team-centric work culture.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience designing and developing scalable web applications with an emphasis on exceptional user experience.
• Strong expertise with frontend technologies, notably TypeScript, React, and NodeJS.
• Solid industry background and proficiency in Java and SpringBoot frameworks.
• Practical experience working with GO and Python programming languages.
• Excellent foundational knowledge of computer science principles.
• In-depth understanding of modern web app architectures, incorporating best practices for design patterns, security, performance, and scalability.
• Dedicated to building customer-centric products of the highest quality.
• Superior verbal, written, and technical communication abilities.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits

• The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $157,000 to $230,000, with final compensation depending on qualifications, experience, and location.
• Eligibility for participation in the company’s bonus and equity programs.
