Job description

About the role

Staycity is an urban aparthotel brand that combines the space and independence of apartment-style living with the reliability and service standards of a hotel. With properties across major European cities including Dublin, London, Paris, and Edinburgh, the brand offers convenient city-centre stays designed for today’s traveller.

The company’s aim is to let guests enjoy the city in a way that suits them, while still delivering warm hospitality and a consistent experience. The team is made up of proactive, thoughtful hospitality professionals focused on memorable guest service and a positive workplace culture.

Staycity is looking for a Front of House Team Member to support both reception and bar operations and help deliver the guest experience from arrival through departure.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a visible representative of the Staycity brand with energy, enthusiasm, and a guest-first attitude.
  • Create strong first impressions through confident communication and a welcoming approach.
  • Pay close attention to detail and stay organised so guests receive a smooth and polished experience.
  • Consistently go the extra mile for both guests and colleagues to build loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Contribute a positive, upbeat presence that supports a lively and productive team environment.
  • Maintain a respectful and considerate atmosphere by treating everyone courteously.

What we’re looking for

  • Prior experience in a similar property or hospitality setting is helpful, though not mandatory because full training will be provided.
  • Working knowledge of Opera PMS is beneficial, but it is not a requirement as training will be given.
  • Strong communication and people skills are essential for success in this role.
  • No previous bar experience is needed; the team will train you, including how to serve and pour drinks properly.

Benefits

  • Paid family leave after completing more than one year of service.
  • Flexible work patterns.
  • Performance bonus linked to core values and individual property objectives.
  • Reduced rates on overnight stays for you, your family, and friends.
  • Employee referral reward of up to £/€550.
  • Cycle-to-work support to encourage a healthier lifestyle and lower environmental impact.
  • Learning and education support to help you develop new skills.
  • Two paid volunteer days each year.
  • Employee Assistance Program for you and your family.
  • One additional day off for your birthday.
