Overview
We are seeking a distinguished Front of House Receptionist to represent the UK headquarters of a renowned global financial services company in their London office. This role offers an excellent chance for a seasoned corporate receptionist who excels in client-facing scenarios and values delivering exceptional service quality. As the principal point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, you will ensure a warm, polished, and streamlined experience while facilitating the efficient operation of a bustling corporate workspace.
Key Duties
- Extend a courteous, professional, and engaging greeting to all clients, visitors, and employees upon arrival.
- Handle both internal and external incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally, directing inquiries with discretion and confidence.
- Manage bookings for meeting rooms and maintain impeccable standards before, during, and after meetings.
- Collaborate closely with the Events and Marketing departments to assist in planning, organizing, and executing internal events and client gatherings.
- Coordinate catering services for meetings, boardroom lunches, and corporate functions.
- Prepare welcome packages, security passes, and onboarding materials for new employees.
- Arrange transportation such as taxis and assist with travel logistics for staff and visitors.
- Uphold the highest professional standards in maintaining reception and front office areas, ensuring they are organized, inviting, and reflective of the company's brand identity.
- Offer administrative assistance to broader office teams as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a corporate Front of House, Reception, or Client Services capacity is mandatory, preferably within financial or professional services sectors.
- Presentation is impeccable; projecting a polished, professional, and approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English.
- Highly organised, capable of managing several responsibilities simultaneously while staying composed under pressure.
- Resourceful and proactive, anticipating the needs of clients and colleagues effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to providing an exceptional client experience.
- A cooperative team player who maintains a positive outlook and possesses a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and customer service.
Additional Information
The role is based in St Paul's, London, operating Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
