Overview
Our client, a rapidly expanding challenger brand in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is searching for a highly organized, proactive, and flexible People and Business Coordinator. Located in Camden with a hybrid working schedule (four days onsite Monday to Thursday, and remote on Friday), this role supports daily operations within a dynamic and growth-focused company.
Role Summary
This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, combining people administration, office management, and operational assistance to ensure a smooth and effective workplace, delivering an exceptional employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Maintain comprehensive employee records, contracts, holiday management, and HR documentation.
- Assist with training programs, and initiatives promoting employee wellbeing and engagement.
- Oversee company policies, ensuring adherence to employment laws and health and safety regulations.
- Support efforts related to B Corp certification by tracking impact data, maintaining required documentation, and facilitating reporting and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Coordinate internal communications, organize team events, and drive cultural initiatives.
- Oversee office facility management, supply procurement, meeting room scheduling, and vendor relations.
- Arrange business travel and coordinate meetings efficiently.
- Manage IT equipment distribution, system access, and set up for new employees.
- Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate people data management.
- Contribute to operational projects, process optimizations, and general administrative tasks.
- Provide miscellaneous support to leadership and cross-functional teams as needed.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background with the ability to handle multiple priorities seamlessly, demonstrate discretion with confidential information, and have proficiency in various systems including AI and technology-driven tools. Experience working in scaling organizations and preferably within consumer-brand businesses in the FMCG sector is highly advantageous.
Working Arrangement
This role involves hybrid work based in Camden with four days onsite (Monday to Thursday) and one day working from home (Friday).
Compensation
The salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience.
