Role overview

You will be the first person visitors, clients, and occupiers meet, so the role centres on creating a professional welcome, handling front-desk activity, coordinating meeting rooms, and helping to deliver a smooth five-star guest experience. You will work alongside housekeeping and workplace colleagues to keep the site organised, efficient, and inviting.
Key duties
- Greet guests and occupiers with a high standard of service and a warm, professional approach.
- Handle reception enquiries, incoming calls, and the reception email inbox.
- Arrange meeting room reservations, room setup, inspections, and refreshments.
- Provide basic support for AV and IT issues and pass on problems that need further attention.
- Carry out workplace checks and help ensure meeting areas stay tidy and presentation-ready.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients, occupiers, and external service providers.
- Assist with board meetings, general office administration, and other occasional tasks.
- Follow health and safety procedures and remain alert to site security requirements.
Working hours
The role is 40.5 hours per week. Shifts run from 8:30 to 18:00 Monday to Thursday, and from 8:30 to 17:00 on Fridays.
Compensation
The annual salary for this position is £36,954.
Additional information
In addition to the core role, the employer offers a range of benefits and support services, including holiday allowance, pension contributions, life insurance, enhanced annual leave, a referral bonus scheme, a thank-you voucher scheme, a 24-hour confidential helpline with counselling and information services, access to a discounts and benefits platform covering retailers, hotels, cinemas and more, and training and development through the company’s Training Academy.
